Nordic Modern
Nordic Modern was started in 2004 to promote up and coming newly graduated contemporary artists working in art and design. Our mission is to show their work in our gallery (see address below) and on the Internet. We can also arrange viewings in your home or at the office. Art and design products are also for sale in the gallery.
Gallery in central Sweden (Bergslagen)
The GALLERY is situated in an "unnaturally beautiful area", 180 km NW of Stockholm near Engelsbergs Ironworks, which is one of the worlds foremost industrial heritages and is on UNESCO´s list of world heritage sites. In this stunning environment where history and culture meets, Nordic Modern shows new artists and their work, and a range of design products. (see list below).
We will be closing the physical gallery at the end of August, but will continue representing various artists on the internet.

SCULPTURE GARDEN
A sculpture garden is taking form and we will be adding to the existing pieces from 2006 during the coming months.
Note! We are looking for artists who work with metal, stone or wood who would like to be part of the exhibit. Please get in touch if you are interested in getting involved.

From Stockholm: E18 to Västerås then
From Västerås: Route 66 to Fagersta/Ludvika (appr. 50km). Turn off at Virsbo, go through the village, follow sign for "Engelsbergs bruk".
From Fagersta: Route 664 towards Ängelsberg/Engelsbergs bruk.
From Norberg: Route 256 towards Sala. Follow the sign to "Engelsbergs bruk" (Route 668).
